Aha! Apparantly 'yabasic' is what the version of basic you could use on the PlayStation 2 was called. Ha, it was just on there to avoid certain European import taxes, because having a programming language on their made it count as a computer instead of just a games console.

Well, good for that, because I really liked playing around with it back in the day. I'm gonna guess it was my first programming language.


I don't think we had a keyboard hooked up to the playstation, so we might have had to use the d-pad on the controller and a virtual keyboard.
